OTP itself is also the abbreviation of one time programmable. One time means one-time and programmable means burning. If it is not a new material, first remove the old program in the original IC. After removal, you also need to check whether the program has been cleared, whether it is empty or not, and then burn it again. Burning is to program data and programs into IC. 2、 Precautions
1. Be careful when placing the IC to avoid damaging the IC and the burning base;
2. The IC must not be installed reversely. The IC with the board removed must first check whether there is a tin short circuit on the pin, otherwise it is easy to damage the burning base;
3. The burning personnel must be trained before they can work. When burning, they must not use other computer programs;
4. In case of adverse phenomena, immediately feed back to the management personnel for solution.
3、 Steps and methods of IC chip burning program
1. First connect the data line of the burner and install the corresponding IC base into the burner base; Turn on the computer and the burner;
2. Run the burning software: double click the icon "gang-08" with the mouse (different burning seats correspond to different burning software);
3. Select IC brand: after the program startup screen appears, click the "device" menu to call up the IC brand selection table, then select the brand corresponding to the IC to be burned, and then click "OK";
4. Select IC model: the IC model produced by the company of the IC to be burned appears. Select the IC model and click "run"; At this time, if the burning base wants to select a jumper, press the computer prompt to jumper. After jumping the line, click "OK". If there is no jumper on the burning base, directly enter the burning interface;
5. Transfer in the software to be burned: click the menu "file", select "load file to programmer buffer", then select the software to be burned, click "open", then select "00", and click OK;
6. Check the software verification code (buffer checksum): after the software is transferred in, a four digit verification code will appear after the buffer checksum, which should correspond to the verification code in the notice of electronic design documents, that is, the software to be burned is correct. If it is incorrect, it shall be immediately fed back to relevant departments for solution;
7. Burning software: click the "program" button to install the IC to be burned into the IC base. After installation, press the burning button on the burning base. When the burning is completed, "OK" will be displayed if the burning is successful, and red "error" will be displayed if the burning fails. The indicator light of each burning base corresponding to the IC with OK burning is on, indicating that the IC has been burned successfully;
8. Make burning marks, stick stickers on the IC with OK burning, put it on other burning bases again if burning fails, and put it in the defective product box if it is determined that the IC is damaged, and mark it.
4、 Bad IC burning steps
1. Repeat steps 1 to 6 above;
2. After the burning interface appears, click the "auto" button and select the three options of "erase, program and verify" with the mouse;
3. Install the IC to be burned into the IC base, and then press the burn button on the burning base. After the burning is completed, if the burning is successful, it will display "OK", if the burning fails, it will display the red "error" character, and the indicator light of each burning base corresponding to the IC with OK burning is on, indicating that the IC has been burned successfully;
4. The IC with OK burning shall be pasted with stickers. If it fails to burn, it shall be put back into other burning seats and burned again. If it is determined that the IC is damaged, it can be returned to the warehouse.
5、 IC burning verification steps
1. Before going to work every day, put the IC to be burned into the IC burning base, burn the IC according to the operation instructions and number it;
2. After the burning is successful, put the IC into other burning bases with different numbers, then select "verify" in the menu and press "run" to start the verification. If "OK" appears in all, put the IC into other burning bases for re verification. If the verification is OK, it indicates that the burning base is OK;
3. If "verify" fails, first install the IC with OK verification of other seats into the IC seat corresponding to the IC with failed burning and the seat with failed verification just now. If a seat still fails to verify, it indicates that the seat may be damaged, resulting in error in burning IC data, and put it into the IC Verification with OK verification of other seats again. If it is confirmed that there is damage, stop burning the seat immediately. And will immediately report the situation to relevant personnel and recheck the burned IC.
