Reliability testing methods for electronic appliances:

1. Storage environment test

Test conditions: -20 ℃ 8H~60 ℃ 8H Humidity: 90%

Test method: After storing the machine in its complete packaging at high/low temperatures, it is restored to room temperature to inspect its appearance, structure, and performance.

Test criteria: No major abnormalities in appearance and mechanism, and no abnormalities in functionality during testing.

2. Bare metal drop test

Test conditions: In a normal temperature and humidity environment

Test method: Ensure that the electronic product is turned off and tested on a 64mm thick cement material with a 20mm thick wooden board attached to the surface. The front, back, and sides should each drop once, and the side button surface should not be tested. Falling height: 80CM

Test criteria: The shell structure must not be permanently damaged, and there should be no abnormalities in functionality after the test.

3. High temperature/low temperature start-up test

Test conditions: High temperature start: Place the product in a constant temperature and humidity machine at 45 ℃ and 80% RH; Low temperature start: Place the product in a constant temperature and humidity machine at 0 ℃

Test method: Keep the prototype in the corresponding constant temperature and humidity machine for 4 hours and test whether all functions are normal.

Test criteria: The prototype should be able to start normally under high/low temperature conditions, and all functions should be able to be realized normally.

4. Vibration test

Test conditions: The product is tested in packaging, and the vibration type is random vibration

Test method: The vibration frequency is 50Hz, the vibration time is 20 minutes in each direction, and the vibration test direction is X Y. Z,

Test judgment criteria: After the test is completed, check the machine according to the shipping inspection standards to see if there are any abnormalities. The vibration during operation is considered as the vibration of the machine, and whether it can continue to work normally.

5. Aging test

Test conditions: Normal start-up state at room temperature and humidity

Test method: Charge cycle, repeat cycle, repeat cycle to continue playing video; Turn the volume to maximum and set Repeat all playback mode.

Test criteria: Normal charging and discharging, no crashes, crashes, poor display, and abnormal sound output during playback.

6. Key lifespan test

Test conditions: In a state of no damage

Test method: Press all the buttons on the machine continuously for 5000 times to see their function and actual lifespan

Test judgment standard: If the test is less than 5000 times, it will be judged as unqualified

7. Insertion and extraction force test

Test conditions: Test in shutdown state

8. Salt spray test

Test conditions: Test in shutdown state

Test method: Artificial simulation of salt spray environmental conditions is used to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. The salt spray concentration and test time are tested according to the actual requirements of the customer.

Test criteria: 1. Calculate the corrosion area and grade it (GB/T 6461);

2. Appearance description: whether there is rust, type of rust, degree of corrosion, whether there are bubbles/cracks, etc

3. Check the function (only for finished products);

4. Other evaluations: such as adhesion, pencil hardness, corrosion width, etc.

9. Waterproof and dustproof level test

Test conditions: Test in shutdown state

Test purpose: To verify the protective effect of the product shell

Test method: Use equipment such as water spray, water tank, and dust box to conduct varying degrees of testing on the product according to different IP level requirements. 10. UV aging test

UV aging mainly simulates the long-term exposure of products to sunlight when used outdoors, and simulates the effects of long-term sunlight exposure through UV radiation.
