Calibration specification for cold and hot shock test chambers

Date:2023-08-18 15:51:00Views:327

The cold and hot impact test chamber is a device specifically designed to perform cold and hot impact tests. It usually consists of three main parts: the laboratory, control system, and cooling/heating system. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, the cold and hot impact test chamber needs to be regularly calibrated. The following will introduce the calibration specifications of the cold and hot impact test chamber.

1. Calibration frequency

The calibration frequency of the cold and hot impact test chamber should be determined based on its usage and production process. Normally, the calibration frequency should not be less than once a year, or calibration should be conducted before the equipment undergoes important testing.

2. Calibration standards

The calibration of the cold and hot impact test chamber should be carried out in accordance with relevant standards, such as ISO 9001, ASTM D3580, GB/T 2423, etc. Calibration standards should ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, as well as the stability and consistency of equipment.

3. Calibration Procedure

The calibration procedure for the cold and hot impact test chamber should include the following steps:

(1) Equipment inspection: Check the appearance, electrical and mechanical components of the equipment for normal operation.

(2) Temperature calibration: Check the accuracy of the equipment's temperature control system by calibrating thermocouples or temperature sensors.

(3) Humidity calibration: Check the accuracy of the equipment's humidity control system by calibrating the humidity sensor.

(4) Laboratory uniformity calibration: Check whether the temperature and humidity distribution in the laboratory is uniform by placing temperature and humidity sensors in different positions.

(5) Calibration of cold and hot shock tests: Check the performance and stability of the equipment by conducting cold and hot shock tests at different temperatures.

4. Calibration records

The calibration record of the cold and hot impact test chamber should include the following content:

(1) Calibration date and time;

(2) Name and signature of calibration personnel;

(3) Calibration procedures and standards;

(4) Handling of calibration results and abnormal situations;

(5) Equipment maintenance and upkeep records.

Calibration according to relevant standards and specifications can ensure the stability and consistency of the equipment, providing more accurate data and guidance for material testing. Our company has a team of professional engineers and industry elites, with three standardized laboratories covering an area of over 1800 square meters. We can undertake various testing projects such as electronic component testing and verification, IC authenticity identification, product design and material selection, failure analysis, functional testing, factory incoming material inspection, and tape weaving.
