It is recommended to set insulation shed to ensure that the welding environment temperature can meet the welding requirements.

2. Welding material management: check whether the welding wire is in good condition before use, and take moisture-proof measures. The shielding gas shall be strictly controlled and its purity shall not be lower than 99.5%. In low temperature environment, check whether the cylinder mouth is blocked or frozen to ensure the smooth and stable use of protective gas.

3. Preheating before welding: preheating operation shall be carried out for the welding seam before welding, and the temperature of the welding seam shall be properly raised, even if necessary, the method of accompanying preheating can be used. The preheating temperature range is recommended to be between 80 ℃ and 150 ℃. The far-infrared thermometer can be used to measure the temperature for many times. When measuring the temperature, the temperature measuring point should be set at 75mm from the edge of the groove.

4. Weld length: Generally speaking, the weld lead out length of manual/gas shielded arc welding shall be greater than 25mm. In case of non manual arc welding, the lead out length of the weld shall be greater than 80mm.

5. Slow cooling after welding: the temperature fluctuates greatly in recent days. After welding is completed in a low temperature environment, the temperature drop rate of the weld shall be controlled to slow the cooling of the weld. The cooling rate shall be less than 10 ℃ per minute.
